Hon’ble Mrs. Justice Meenakshi I. Mehta

Designation: Judge, Punjab and Haryana High Court, Chandigarh-cum-Adminstrative Judge of Ambala Sessions Division

Born to Educationist Prem Lata and Engineer B. D. Girdhar on 9th March,1964 at Hisar. Did graduation in Arts and thereafter, obtained LL.B degree in 1985 from Kurukshetra University and was awarded University Medal and Mahasha Banarasi Dass Gupta Gold Medal for securing first position in LL.B exams. Selected and joined as Sub Judge-cum-Judicial Magistrate in Haryana in October, 1987 and was designated as Chief Judicial Magistrate in 1998. Had been promoted as Additional District and Sessions Judge in 2002 and served as such at several places in the State. Was designated as District and Sessions Judge in September, 2013 and served as such and also presided over the Industrial Tribunal and worked as Legal Remembrancer-cum-Administrative Secretary to the Government of Haryana, Law and Legislative Department. Obtained LL.M degree in 2016 from Kurukshetra University. Elevated as Judge of this High Court on 28th November,2019.
